The blog is back and the best way to kick things off is with a quick report on the summer movie season. Today is June 6th and last night I saw the hilarious comedy, "The Hangover." To qualify for this list the movie had to be released on May 1st or after. These rankings are fluid and will change as the summer goes along. My brother and I attempt to see as many movies during the summer as possible and so far have seen 5 of the big summer movies. I have yet to see "Up" "Night at The Museum 2" "Angels and Demons" and "Land of the Lost." Also I don't plan on seeing "Dance Flick" and "Ghost of Girlfriends Past," not to mention "My Life in Ruins," which you would have to pretty much threaten me with my life to see.
So far the 5 films I have seen this summer are "Wolverine," "Star Trek," "Terminator Salvation," "Drag Me To Hell," and "The Hangover." Here is my top 5 thus far.
1. "Star Trek" JJ Abrams franchise reboot of "Star Trek" is undoubtedly the hit of the summer to this point. The film was marketed very well for months and while experts predicted big things, Abrams film has exceeded expectations in a big way. The film not only has been critically acclaimed with a 95% fresh rating on rotten tomatoes, which is very rare for a summer popcorn flick, but has made over 200 million thus far. The special thing about this film is not only should it appeal to long time fans of the franchise, but judging by it's success it's pretty obvious it has brought in a large new audience that have not typically been followers.
I am one of those new fans. Being a fan of Abrams work on "Lost" and "Alias" he has some success in the film world with MI3 and Cloverfield but the new "Star Trek" makes him arguably the hottest young director/producer in Hollywood. There is not much to nit pick about this film, it's got great action, flawless special effects, humor and drama. It's not on the level of last summers "The Dark Knight" but it is probably right there along side "Iron Man," as far summer blockbusters go.
The most impressive thing about this film in my opinion is the universe in which it takes place. Abrams and his SE team have done a tremendous job re-creating the Star Trek world with seamless visuals not only in the action scenes but in pretty much every shot throughout the movie. As stated before this film is definitely a franchise reboot as it gives us back stories on Capt. Kirk and Spock and introduces us to all the main players. It is not aimed strictly at die hard fans and that is why it has such a broad appeal and has been so successful. As good as it was, I really think Abrams could do big things with future sequels. I really enjoyed this film and look forward to future installments from the new "Star Trek" series.
2. "The Hangover." While there are other comedies that look to have great potential this summer such as "Bruno" and "Funny People" it will be very tough to out laugh the hilarious movie "The Hangover." Director Todd Phillips hit it big with "Old School" but since then has struggled to live up to the bar he set with the classic comedy. "Starsky and Hutch" was decent and "School for Scoundrels" was watchable with a few decent laughs. However Phillips comes back in a big way with this film without the help of any big name actors. Bradley Cooper is a potential leading man in waiting, and shares star time along with the hilariously underrated Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms.
This film is undoubtedly the funniest movie of the year so far. The laughs come one after another and from all cast members. Galafianakis is definitely the star of the show and it's nice to see a guy who has been around for awhile get the chance to show everyone just how funny he is. And this is a great vehicle for him to become a late blooming comedy star. It's very hard to believe that a comedian with this much talent has such a pathetic filmography. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0302108/
Hopefully this film will make sure we see much more of him on the big screen... in quality comedies.
Mike Tyson's cameo is even better and longer than you'd think based on the trailer and it's nice to see the lovely Heather Graham in a movie that didn't go straight to video. This is definitely going to be one of those comedies people see multiple times and quote for years to come, and should also be an even bigger hit on DVD. GO SEE "THE HANGOVER" ASAP!!!
3. "Drag Me To Hell" Sam Raimi returns to his "horror" film roots with the terrific "Drag." Only "Up," and "Star Trek" have higher freshness ratings so far on rottentomatoes.com as Drag has a 93% rating, an amazing accomplishment for a film of this kind. I am not a big horror fan film and have never even seen any of the "Evil Dead" movies. Raimi is no stranger to summer success, directing all 3 blockbuster "Spiderman" films. However I am sure it throws the uneducated movie goers for a loop when they see the trailer for this film saying "from the director of Spiderman."
Some may find this film corny or cheesy but much of that is intentional. This film is funny and frightening. It's not meant to scare you to death but you will jump and you will be grossed out and laugh out loud from time to time. I really enjoyed this movie and only wish I had seen it at a later showing in a crowded theater. My only complaint would have been to see more screen time for Justin Long. Allison Lohman was very good in the starring role but it would have been nice if Long had a bigger role. This is definitely a b-movie, but I mean that as a total compliment. We just don't get many quality "b-movies" in Hollywood anymore. Sure we get a lot of crap, but the classic b-movie style film is a lost art and Raimi is a master of the genre.
4. "Terminator Salvation." Christian Bale + Terminator= bad ass? Well, more like decent. Bale is really the co star of this film and while Sam Worthington is excellent in the leading role, the film never really takes off completely. It's solid, it looks great, has a great cast, minus the rapper Common who needs to stick to rapping. The script probably needed some work by better writers to really make it live up to potential. I enjoyed the movie, but just did not love it and felt like it moved along and had a solid story but the dialogue was mediocre at best. The virtual Arnold was stupid and distracting. Basically it's a decent movie but I just had higher hopes.
5. "X-Men Origins- Wolverine" I did not realize how bad this movie was til about 10 minutes after I saw it. Sure there are some decent actions scenes but this movie just doesn't even make any sense. I didn't think it sucked while watching it, but it certainly left me wanting more as it went along. It's supposed to be a back story on Wolverine, but you get a meaningless montage of about 5 minutes that is supposed to give you that and then it's on to the silly story. I could go on for awhile but I've written long enough. This movie is worth seeing if you have time to kill and are interested but all in all it pretty much sucks and I don't plan to ever see it again, haha.

D-Bag of the day!!!
After some delay I finally found another d-bag of the day worthy video!
Way to go Jarboe! Get yourself kicked off the team for a shi**y rap? While it's pretty silly when you think about it, he probably never should have been allowed to come to OU in the first place.

The Dark Knight (Movie Review)

Let me start this review off by stating a fact many of you already know. I definitely go to the movie theater more often than the average person. As I noted in my summer movie report, I have seen seventeen movies in theaters this summer. Many people I am friends with do not see that many in theaters all year, and a few others that many even counting DVD viewings. Now does this make me a better person, absolutely... not... However I do feel it qualifies me to have a unique view when it comes to discussing the film and the experience that is going to the movie theater.
As some of my loyal readers my know (all 10 of you) my degree is in Film and Video Studies from the University of Oklahoma. So as film scholar and student of the game my feelings about the medium of film and how it is viewed are very strong. I have a rather large DVD collection and feel that home viewing is an important albeit expensive necessity when it comes to film appreciation. Now I am not talking about saying you need to watch "Freddy Got Fingered" on a 70 inch plasma with a kick ass 7.1 Klipsch surround system, certain movies do not call for any special attention when it comes to viewing them. However Christopher Nolan's sequel to "Batman Begins," "The Dark Knight" is a film that absolutely MUST be viewed in a proper setting to fully appreciate. This is an event film, as evident of it's now record 155+ million weekend opening.
So with all that said, I can safely say that my film viewing experience at 12:01 a.m Friday morning is without question one of the finest I have ever had, if not the best. I was fortunate enough to be attending a Foo Fighters concert with my brother Grant Thursday night at the Ford Center in OKC. I met up with some friends earlier in the evening and we all had a great time. But none of this compared to the two and a half hours I spent watching "The Dark Knight" in the fabulous Cine Capri Theater at the Bricktown Harkins Cinema. Seeing this amazing film in a sold out environment with other die hard fans on the largest non IMAX screen available, with digital projection and great sound made for a near perfect film going experience. I do plan on seeing the film at the IMAX in Tulsa soon, as Nolan filmed several scenes with IMAX cameras, including the opening scene which was shown in December before "I AM Legend," which I was fortunate to see.
I mention all of this because as an avid film lover and student I bring this to all of your attentions because I feel it is very important to see great films in great settings. Back in the days before multi-plexes and home video the movie going experience was something special. That changed in the 70's and especially the 80's when grand theaters with one big screen were replaced by cinemas located by malls and shopping centers and built to have as many as 8 non-descript screens and eventually even more. Luckily the trend seems to be toward building bigger and better multi-plexes such as the Harkins and the new theater in Moore which features a balcony that serves alcohol! With so many people stealing music and movies on the Internet and seeing films in such a sh*tty setting it just frustrates me when people do not view art in the proper setting. With all that said, people packed the IMAX's and great theaters around the country and saw "The Dark Knight" this weekend in record numbers!
On that note, maybe I should talk about the film now???
Christopher Nolan changed the Batman universe in ways I did not know where possible with "Batman Begins." I, like most people had very high expectations for "The Dark Knight." With the death of Heath Ledger in January it only added to the hype and anticipation of the film. Ledger as we know had the potential to be the great actor of our generation and while we will never get to see what might have been, he has left us with what might be remembered as one of the great performances in screen history. His performance and everything about the film far exceeded my expectations. Thirty minutes into the film I was absolutely engrossed and just lost in the world of Gotham. An hour into the movie I was already questioning in my mind, "Is this the greatest film I have ever seen?"
This was not a question based on hype, it was based on what I was viewing on the screen and how this film was able to draw me into the story and get involved with the characters in ways few films are capable of doing. This was an honest question I asked myself as the film continued on past the 2 hour mark, and by the time it was finished there was little doubt in my mind that this was without question one of, if not my favorite film of all time. The acting across the board was incredible and just perfect for the film. Christian Bale is not going to receive any awards but he is absolutely the best Batman and Bruce Wayne to hit the screen.
As great as Heath Ledger was, Aaron Eckhart was nearly as good in my opinion. His performance as Harvey Dent and Two Face was classic and deserving of best supporting Oscar consideration as well. The eldger statesmen of Morgan Freeman and Michael Cain are perfectly cast and make you forget who they really are and you truly buy them as the characters they are portraying. Gary Oldman is fantastic as Commisioner Gordon, receiving more screen time than in "Batman Begins." Maggie Gyllenhall was a good replacement for Katie (Cruise) Holmes. I still don't buy that she just choose not to the do the movie, but whatever, Gyllehnall did not blow me away, nor is she a stunning screen beauty, but she out performed Holmes easily.
The action is incredible and well timed. The balance between strong scenes carried by excellent acting and dialogue from the brothers Nolan's script are nearly flawless. The pace of the movie is astonishing. Those with short attention spans and non die hard may not be able to appreciate the movie as much as most of the films fans, but I was entertained for all two and a half plus hours without a single moment of slow down.
What separates Christopher Nolan's Batman universe from every other comic book or action hero movie is the rawness and realness of the characters and the world they live in. Tim Burton is one of my favorite directors and his two takes on Batman were fantastic and "Batman Returns" was considered a dark movie, however it is a cartoon in comparison with Nolan's vision. As great as those films are you have to try and appreciate them on another level now that Nolan and Co. have taken this franchise to unthinkable heights.
This is not a movie for kids. In fact the summers two best films "Knight," and "Wall-E" are films set in traditional genres that are aimed at a younger crowd but both achieve new heights based on their adult aspirations. This film blows away any pre conceived ideas we have about what a "super hero" movie should and can be. As film critic James Beradenelli pointed out in his review, "Knight is perhaps the most impressive mainstream entertainment experience since "Return of The King." I agree with that only in the fact that "ROTK" won a ton of Oscars including "Best Picture." The LOTR franchise is a fantasy trilogy and the first mainstream big block buster type movie to win a Best Picture to my knowledge.
Certainly there has not been a "super hero" movie to get Oscar consideration, let alone win any awards. I don't think there is even a question that Heath Ledger will get a best supporting actor nomination, in fact I would be shocked if he does not win it. The ratings for the Oscars have been heading in the wrong direction and showering what is undoubtedly the biggest and most popular movie of the year with critical praise and award nominations would definitely do the trick to bring up the ratings for ABC next year. So I fully expect to see not only Ledger, but possibly Eckhart and or Oldman get acting nods, Christopher Nolan and his brother Jonathan to get a screenplay nom, Nolan best director, best editing, etc, etc and most importantly the improbable Best Picture nomination. It is rare for a high grossing film to receive Best Picture nominations but not unheard of. Recently besides ROTK, Forrest Gump and Titanic took home the award just off the top of my head. Hopefully "Knight" will be fully honored for what it deserves.
I am not writing to get into plot details, most of you who read this will have already seen the movie. One of the things that interested me most about this film is how there is a sense of anything is possible in Nolan's Gotham City. What I mean is that any character is expendable and there is not that sense of the super hero will always come out on top in the end. That is not the case in "The Dark Knight" as those of you who have seen it obviously know. This is a big reason this film sets itself apart from all other comic book/super hero genre movies. It plays by a different set of rules, in fact it ignores the rules all together. It explores themes in ways that only the most serious of drams attempt to and does so without coming off as cheesy because this is not a comic book/super hero movie at all, it is just based on one...
I have heard some haters say that Bales "Batman" voice is "cheesy," and to me that is just stupid. What is so awesome about Bale's performance is how few lines he actually speaks as Batman and when he does he makes his presence felt and delivers the lines with a serious yet sarcastic quality fitting of the man under the costume, Bruce Wayne. Bale's performance as Bruce Wayne is where he really shines, he is brash and cocky and fun, but his one weakness is Rachel. He flirts with the idea of leaving his life of crime fighting behind for her, but his internal struggle of conflict with himself and his calling make this decision something he can't quite make.
Sadly, if we are honest with ourselves the reason this film is breaking records is because of the hype surrounding the final performance of Heath Ledger as The Joker. Yes, Ledger was receiving advanced praise for his performance even before his death, but in the months since his death the added media attention has brought a sense of urgency and curiosity to film goers around the nation like no movie has in recent memory. That being said, this is not necessarily a bad thing because of the overwhelming critical praise and fan response to the film. People are honoring Heath's legacy and coming away amazed by what he has done with the character that most thought Jack Nicholson mastered. Nicholson's character was perfect for the original "Batman" movie but it does not touch that of Ledger's. Dark, moody, comic, and just flat out amazing, every moment Ledger's Joker is on screen is classic and an absolute scene stealing moment. It would be no less phenomenal had he lived to see this films opening. That he did not is as tragic as any story in Hollywood history.
Many times young artist, an actor or musician die early and their legends grow sometimes more so than they deserve. (COUGH) Kurt Cobain! However Ledger deserves absolutely all of the hype and accolades for this performance and then some. I can ramble on and on about it but it will not even do it justice. Just go see the movie with an open mind in a great setting and experience it for yourself!
"The Dark Knight" is an amazing film, one of, if not my favorite films of all times. It is worthy of the praise and attention and hype it is receiving and I hope it gets honored come award season because if there is a better film that comes out this year I can't wait to see it. And you know I will be there to see it!
Well I could go on longer but I think I have said enough for now!

Summer Movie Report Pt. 2 (thru July 18th)
Well kids a little more than a month has already gone by since my last summer movie report. Inspired by last nights amazing midnight showing of "The Dark Knight," I have come to give the 2nd installment of G-Spence's summer movie report. Tomorrow I will unleash my review of Christopher Nolan's masterpiece, but until then you will have to entertain yourself by reading my views on the 17 movies I have seen this summer thus far.
In the first report I ranked those I had seen thru June 13th and Iron Man was without a doubt the top film of the summer. However things have changed.
For the first report please click on the title link...
#1. The Dark Knight- As previously stated the review is coming tomorrow! But there is no doubt this is the best movie of the summer and nothing else comes close. This better be nominated for Best Picture or some old geezers need their balls cut off! More on that later...

#1. The Dark Knight- As previously stated the review is coming tomorrow! But there is no doubt this is the best movie of the summer and nothing else comes close. This better be nominated for Best Picture or some old geezers need their balls cut off! More on that later...
#2. Iron Man- Iron Man kicked off the summer in a big way and it still stands as the #2 movie of the summer in my opinion. For more info see summer movie report pt.1
#3. Wall-E- This was a tough call because "Wall-E" absolutely exceeded my expectations and goes places that no animated film has ever gone before. All of the big Pixar titles and even the Dreamworks animated features give something for the adults to enjoy but this is the first major studio animated film that really to me is probably a better film for adults than kids. Not to say kids will not enjoy this film but to truly appreciate everything it offers you have to be a film lover and old enough to vote. I'll talk more about this film at summers end when I unveil the official top 10.
#4. Wanted- Wanted is just a great pure action flick. The action, special effect, and special body of Angelina Jolie make this a pure adrenaline packed summer flick. A fun way to spend an hour or so at the movies!
#5. You Don't Mess With The Zohan- The summers best comedies are still likely to be on the way with next Friday's release of "Step Brothers" and "Pineapple Express" down the road in August. However Adam Sandler's "Zohan" holds strong as my #5 movie of the summer. This is more than just a silly Sandler flick and I look forward to seeing it again on Blu Ray!
#6 Indian Jones and The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull- Indy gets the award for longest summer movie title but it slips out of the top 5 due to the arrivals of "Wanted" Wall-E" and "The Dark Knight." I wish I would have seen this movie in a similar situation as I did last night with "Knight" because that kind of packed house always makes for a better movie going experience. I still highly enjoyed this film, while not perfect, it was fun and worthy to sit along side the first 3 films.
#7. Hancock- I had higher hopes for Will Smith's "Hancock" but somewhere after the 45 minute mark when they unveiled the lame "surprise" it lost me a little. Now that it has been a couple weeks since I have seen it I realized I really did not enjoy the last half of the film and just how unnecessary it was to the story. This film started off with a bang and was headed in the right direction. (SPOILER ALERT)
Seriously why did Charlize Theron need to have powers as well? And the entire plot of their relationship was just stupid stupid stupid. This was a very strong summer film up until the point where we found out their past relationship and then it just got silly. It was not fun anymore and the action was nothing special either. Will Smith and Jason Bateman were awesome in the first half of the movie until the story went down the toilet. I still enjoyed the film as a whole for the most part but just felt really let down in the end.
#8. Get Smart I don't have much to complain about "Get Smart" so really it should probably be ranked ahead of "Hancock." However I enjoyed the first part of "Hancock" so much I still ranked it ahead of "Get Smart" and a few other movies that on the whole I enjoyed more. Steve Carrell and Anne Hatheway were fantastic together surprisingly. Hatheway was hotter than ever and did a nice job in the action role and Carrell was perfect for the character. I would not be surprised to see this get a sequal.
#9. Hellboy- This is another movie that really probably deserves to be ranked ahead of "Hancock" but I had a tough time deciding the 7-10 spots. "Hellboy 2" had it's moments, some very great moments indeed but the added fantasy aspect to this story just did not work for me that well in comparison to the original film. Still this was a solid sequal and enjoyable film.
#10. Kung Fu Panda- Nothing to complain about with Panda, it was well animated, funny, and all and all a good movie, but just nothing amazingly special. Ska-doosh!
#11. The Incredible Hulk- The Hulk was a solid film but yet again, just nothing phenomenal and when compared with "Knight" and "Iron Man" it just feels like a let down and that they could have done something much more special with the story.
#12. Chronicles of Narnia- Prince Caspian- Another movie I enjoyed and it's been awhile since I have seen it but while it did not blow me away by any means it entertained me and kept my attention at least. Definitely nothing I will be buying on blu ray but I would not mind checking it out again on Netflix.
So the top 12 movies are all movies I have seen this summer that I would say I enjoyed. Not all of them were perfect, just "The Dark Knight," but the following 5 movies just plained sucked!
#13. The Happening I've talked about this one already in the first installment and I said I would write more on it at the time but it sucked the life out of me and I just can't justify wasting anymore time talking about it!
#14. Speed Racer Great trailer... Sucky movie!
#15. What Happens In Vegas Stays in Vegas Had it's moments but HIGHLY forgettable.
#16. LOVE GURU Mike Myers what in the world was that? That character might have been funny in a short SNL skit, but milked to death over a full movie it just became annoying and PAINFUL. Don't even bother ever checking out this movie if you have valued Myers comedic skills in the past. The only thing that keeps this from being the worst movie of the summer is...
#17. The Strangers- Worst movie I have seen since "The Blair Witch Project." There was not a single thing about this film worth a damn. Not remotely scary, stupid story line, poor acting and just plain ridiculous ending.
So there you have it. This has not been a great summer at the theaters yet, but certainly not a bad one. Well actually considering the top 3 films are all pretty damn good and "The Dark Knight" should honestly be a strong Oscar contender if they don't screw it over, I'd have to say it's been solid so far.
Much more coming tomorrow!

So Al Gore did not invent the internet?
This is a really great idea and cool site that you should check out. The internet was not created to be dominated by major corporations and that is what has happened. We accept paying $40-50 bucks a month for internet and why? The cable companies and phone companies we get our services from do not control the sites we surf, just the power we get to surf them.
The internet is the major invention of our lifetime, it has changed our culture for better or worse and it has become a major part of our daily lives for good and for bad. I hope to see a feature length documentary on this subject because net neutrality is an important topic that is hard to understand because we don't think about it. Why is Sir Tim Berners Lee not a household name? He invented the world wide web that has become such a dominant force in our life. This film says 60% of the content on the internet is produced by people like you and I, not corporations and we are in danger of losing that power. The internet, the bad things aside, has brought us closer together, it gives us a platform to voice our views and opinions in a way that we have never had.
Want to start a blog like this, you might not be able to do it for free in a few years? Want to post a video on youtube, same thing...
I guess by posting this on my blog I am doing my part to raise awareness on the issue of net neutrality. This is something that our generation needs to step up and take a stand on and make sure the internet as we know it does not disappear.

Russell Westbrook ???

That is kind of what I thought when the OKC TBD's selected him with the first pick but apparently he is tearing up the Orlando Summer league and many scouts are very impressed with this athletic PG. Here is a good article.
ORLANDO -- For all those raised eyebrows and puzzled experts who questioned Russell Westbrook's being chosen fourth overall in last month's NBA draft, a scout monitoring the Orlando Pro Summer League had this to offer Thursday: "He's flat-out the best player here not named Kevin Durant."
Lofty praise indeed for a herky-jerky point guard who some thought at one time was only the third-best player on his Final Four team at UCLA. High marks, for sure, for the player who sent shock waves through the draft with his stunning climb into the top five despite having averaged less than 13 points a game in college.
Oklahoma City's P.J. Carlesimo is as hardened and old-school a coach as there is in the NBA, but when the topic turns to Westbrook, he gushes as if he's talking about a newborn. After watching four days of summer league play, he knows the franchise new to Oklahoma City struck gold by plucking 6-foot-3 Westbrook with the fourth pick of the draft.
"At summer league, you tell yourself to wait on praising a kid because there aren't a lot of NBA players here, but what he's done is really impressive," Carlesimo said. "I don't think he's going to be a good player; I think he's going to be an excellent player. With young guys, the timetable is always uncertain. But it's not a question of if he's going to be great, but when. We just have to keep surrounding him with great players."
And Carlesimo said all that before Westbrook went out Thursday and gashed the Miami Heat and opposing point guard Mario Chalmers for 19 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in just 24 minutes. Miami routed OKC 101-76, but the game turned lopsided only after Westbrook headed to the bench for much of the sloppy second half.
With young guys, the timetable is always uncertain. But it's not a question of if he's going to be great, but when.
--P.J. Carlesimo, OKC coach on rookie Russell Westbrook
Through four games, Westbrook has averaged 16.5 points on 50 percent shooting and 36 percent shooting from beyond the 3-point arc. He has 14 assists and seven steals compared with just six turnovers. Finally, he hopes he has cleared up some of the doubts about how he became a top-five pick.
"I've worked so hard to put myself in the position that I, am and it's surprising to me that people are questioning why I was picked so high," Westbrook said earlier in the week. "But here I am. To me, being the No. 4 pick means nothing because I'm starting all over again trying to show what I can do."
With his big shoulders, quick burst off the dribble and craftiness with the ball in his hands, Westbrook has shown he has enough skill in his game to be OKC's point guard of the future. Durant, the NBA's reigning Rookie of the Year, admitted earlier in the week that Westbrook is far better offensively than he thought … and Durant had watched films of Westbrook before the draft. But the top point guard taken in the draft, Chicago's Derrick Rose, isn't surprised at all by what Westbrook has done this week.
"We went at each other really hard every day before the draft, and he's really good," said Rose, who is represented by the same firm as Westbrook. "Everybody out here might be surprised how good he is, but I'm not surprised."

Video of the Day-George Harrison!
This was my jam back in first grade! Good memories of watching this video in the summer time in between first and 2nd grade. I remember loving this song and seeing the video at my friends house after a baseball game or something, spending the night, watching MTV. I had no fuc*ing clue this guy was in the bloody Beatles at the time or that I would end up shedding a tear on the die he died. I just knew this song was catchy and had a cool video.
D-Bag of the day!!!
Well it's been awhile since we have done a D-Bag of the day award but this man most certainly deserves it. People who start this kind of crap on internet message boards deserved to be prosecuted for stupidity and I applaud the father of Landry Jones for doing this and hope this guy pays some hefty fines or jail time. You can't just hide behind a screen name and make up stories that hurt peoples reputations. This crap got out on Dallas area sports radio shows as a reported story!
James W. Conradt, you truly are the D-Bag of the day!
